11. Rear Bulkhead Supports

The outside face of the rear bulkhead supports are mounted flush with the inside face of the bottom rail. This provides clearance for the rear suspension links later in the assembly. The one inch offset was established using some scrap tubing clamped to the bottom rail with small flat stock keeping everthing lined up. A "grind to fit" approach was used to establish good alignment and the proper length. The clamping force at the bottom joint was sufficient to hold the support tube in place for tack welding.
